Default Re: zip ties

Can't say for sure cuz each boat weighs differently, I think we use ones like 3/16"ths or lil smaller and double them up at top, had the whole caught on some rigging deal two years ago with the larger 1/4" type and it took 1.5 hours of looking at a crab pit float saying... Well we can tie this to our rode and slice it, but two things came up
1: I would hate to leave a marker up for someone to run over their gear with
2: I would hate to leave a marker up for someone to fish on our spot that we can sit on all day and catch...!

Number 1 is more important, but 2 hours of fishing no scope and it just came loose itself... Funny thing is... We dropped right back on that piece, with a lighter zip... Best thing I can say is start lighter , even double or triple up the lighter ones, kind of goes backwards of the saying - you can break one larger branch, but many small together you can't kinda proverb...

Keep an assortment and go from there... Best way is no chain on rode and just hook the structure with the grapple- use some old hose for chafing... Good luck
