Check out the Penn Battalion Inshore series.
Its a great rod for fluking with bucktails in those weights
Have a Penn Battalion, like it for the surf, not so much on the boat. I do have a Conventional Battalion though my dad bought me, and was also wondering what reel I should pair with that?

I have a Penn Battle 3000 reel paired up with a Penn Bluewater Carnage spinning rod. It's a great setup for casting bucktails away from the boat, can handle anything from 3/4 ounce to 6 ounces with no problem.
Was thinking about the Carnage rod, love Penn. If I get it,should I buy a Rubber or Aluminum one? Novice here with rods.

Thanks guys
