Default Re: Salmon River braid question?

There is no good reason for braid on the SR, especially during the salmon run. Considering that any fish found in the river can be landed on as little as 12-10 lb line by any half decent angler the only reason to use braid would be to rip fish. If a braid line comes by my boots on the river my knife comes out immedaitely. FAR too dangerous a line for the conditions that exist during the salmon run!
