Ocean Explorer Friday
The ocean was looking decent until we got offshore a few miles and turned pretty lumpy...Gusty north winds and alot of current to start for us so it was not very productive early on..We anchored up on a few drops until the winds let up because holding bottom was challenging for most of the guys..and we caught some nice fish that way,,,By lunchtime we were back in drift mode and we picked away at nice fish again.Including some Giant Sea Bass that we threw back....In the end some guys did well,,Skip ended up with his limit plus two giving all his fish away to some who were not so lucky,,,,Hugh had four nice ones,,,few guys had three keepers,,,some two,one..etc....As usual as well some guys did not get a keeper,,,just some days guys are hot and others are not but overall I was happy with the day and we had some guys that did real well with nice fish up to 4lbs..as you can see in the pics below...See ya tomorrow for coffee..
