Default Sunday Inside and Out Report: 6/20

I was able to get out this Sunday.

Well to start off, I left the house to check Elberon around 9:45-10:00 AM. As expected, the NE wind had made the water unfishable and unfishy. So with out saying, I headed south to some shelter at SRI. Water was decently dirty by the bulkhead, but I was able to pick 4 small shorts in an hour. After a lunch break, I checked out the back bay and didn't find what I was looking for, so I went to the tip of the inlet to get a little wet by the waves and also harassed by the lifeguards to get off the jetty. I had one short here and didn't get to fish as much due to the distractions....

It was getting late (4:00pm), I had nothing in da cooler, and I wanted to go to an area that was.... 1. Not rough! And... 2. Where there was not too many snags. So I took the drive south down Ocean Ave to Pt. Pleasant and fished the inlet, where I was able to round up 7 shorts and a 19" incher!

Little bit harder work, but it worked out decently even with the surf basically unfishable....
