In case your wondering, I keep my drag loose hence the screaming line. Its not for effect just how I keep it. I only use 8 lb test for bass & pike so I need to set the drag low. I got a 36" pike last fall and it was screaming line for about 5 minutes. I think I was more tired than the fish.
