Finally took the boat out yesterday for a few hours and hooked up with a fat LMB… Was working the rocks the whole time for Smallies but only managed this Fattie Largemouth and 3 other decent RedEye Bass.
RedEye were hitting Tubes dragged along the rock formations. The Lmb hit a live lined herring then hid in the rocks. After repositioning the boat to create a different angle the Pig finally jarred loose from his hiding place. Glad my 8lb test held up. Fish measured 19-3/4 inches and 3.75lbs with the girth to match.
