Wednesday afternoon was good. Thursday afternoon was very slow. There was a guy standing right in the hole where I pulled them out yesterday.
I can't believe people never figure out how to read a stream before they jump in it.
If the water level is over your knees in this state, you are standing in a good fishing hole. There are good sides and bad sides of a stream to fish from. Stay on the real shallow side and fish the deeper bank. Plain and simple. Sometimes you have to cross to the other side because the river depth changes. Then back again. Elementary! DAH!
And don't cross the stream in front of someone fishing upstream. That happened today too.
