I'm editing this to reflect reduced price, Or, I'm looking to trade for an Avet SX or MX.

This motor was always maintained and served me well all over Raritan & Sandy Hook Bays, as well as several North Jersey Lakes from '89 thru 2002.
I then sold my 14' Aluminum and its MinnKota, as we had a bigger boat.
( a mistake to sell the aluminum. ) This Force O/B has sat in my basement for the last 12 years ever since, as I thought I would buy another aluminum skiff. Never happened.
I recently took the motor to a local Mercury / Force mechanic and it needs
approx $340 dealer retail in parts ( points, condensers, coils, water pump )
plus 2 hours dealer labor. I'm retired as a boat owner, and don't have the
$$ right now, nor the talent to do this myself. I'll fax you the mechanic report if you're serious.
Would like to get $175 OBO. If you want to disassemble it and wait for your money via an E-Bay parts sale, it's worth 3x that.
