Default Re: How low can it go?????

The river is low, slow, and very clear. The other day, I took a walk across the free bridge and was amazed at being able to see to the bottom. On the downstream side of the piers, there were small fish shaped like young SMB that were pecking at the leaves coming down and other things on top. I'd estimate 6-8" fish. There was one school of about a dozen on the deep side of the pier closest to Easton and a pair of them on the shallow side of that same pier. The pier on the P'burg side is completely out of the water with about 8' of rock exposed on the river side.

I was a bit surprised that there were no larger fish cruising around and no bottom dwellers either.
