indeed. gerry, why don't you up the limit for everyone? the 50 we're currently allowed is incredibly restrictive.
the PMs take up next to no room in your database compared to the thousands of new posts on the message boards every week and all the image attachments... and you aren't limiting the number of new threads allowed or deleting the old ones... like we have to do with private messages...
c'mon man, 50 is an insanely limited number,
especially for a fishing message board, where you often pass info back and forth that you don't want to post in the open for everyone to see
