Re: NJF Gambler Reports?
Both have there pros and cons. I have Benn on both sides of the fence. The main thing is the people on the boat. On a recent trip aboard the Gambler we had a group from PA. Some of them were new to tuna fishing. Two of them were rental rods. They worked there lines all night and were rewarded with 2 fish each. The so called pros with thousand dollar set ups sitting in lawn chars with out roders waiting for the fish to bite there line did not do as well. Just cant understand it. You guys pay a lot of money to go fishing. Why would you not want to maximize your time on the water and fish hard for a chance to land a fish? So I don't think its 6 pack verses head boat. Its the people fishing that really matters.
