Default Helmetta Pond 9/7/13

Had an hour or so to kill by the new digs in Helmetta on Saturday so I decided to try tossing some soft plastics for a bit. This place is HORRIBLY choked out by weeds lol. So thick you could prob walk on it. It was more like a pile of rained-on grass clippings than an actual pond haha... jk...

Anyway, I found a few open pockets in between aquatic jungle cover and flipped 4" black w/ blue fleck senkos in them. Surprisingly, I managed to yank 3 fish out. I also saw a rather large slime dart in about 3" of water along a shoreline which was cool to see. Below are pics of the first 2 fish. I didn't snap a pic of the 3rd b/c it was only like 9". Not a bad way to burn an hour...
