Default Megan beth Fluke report 9/08/13

Had Paul Plackston family and friends on board today. Weather was great ,nice West wind and cool breeze. first stop we tried two drifts near the inlet. Had a keeper on first drift and that was it. second drift nothing.. Decided to take the ride today SE of inlet about 45 minutes, based on some numbers that Allen on the Reel class gave us. Got to spot and a couple boats around. First drift had 4 keepers .Needed 8 oz to hold but action was good. Had steady pick all day. Lost the drift for about an hour then the breeze came back and so did the fish. Wound up with 24 nice keepers to 6.65 lbs and a good 75 shorts.

Great day on the water with a nice bunch of guys. See open boat trips for available dates. Only a couple more weeks.
