Default Susqy smallmouth

After over a month of rain and high water on the Susqy, I was able to make my first kayak trip of the summer. I like to do a lot of wading and the water level needs to be under 4' to be safe. The day turned out to be mostly cloudy and around 85 degrees with enough wind to have a breeze most of the time. All in all pretty good. The smallmouth did not dissapoint and we had decent action all day. It was not a crazy bite, but if you worked hard you picked at them. I ended up with around 30 fish with 10 being between 16-19". The best part was that more than half were on topwater. The rest came on grubs and tubes. It was good to be out there again but 4 am to 12 pm is a long day with alot of driving.
