Default Stripers 5/9 late afternoon/night

Left the highlands at 5 last night after gassing up at twin lights, had a half bushel of clam and 6 bunker for bait, headed to the reach and put out a couple stretches for a while looking for marks, nailed a 19 lbr on black/silver stretch after 20 minutes. Lot of crap and bags in the water so decided to anchor and chunk and shuck. First clam in the water produced a bass and we contined to pick away for the remainder of the tide. Had a few double headers and 2 cocktail blues.
There was massive amounts of bunker flooding into the bay all around the boat. I get the feeling next week is going to be insane fishing. All the bass had sea lice, and looked very healthy. Clams were the bait of choice, with nothing on bunker.
Finally tally was 15 bass and 2 blues.
