4/20 report
started at the SBR intending to go for trout but the water was muddy and high so i called it quits after about half an hour. some guy had a rainbow on his stringer but that was the only fish i saw caught there. drove past the pequest it looked worse than the SBR so i stopped instead at hot dog johnny's for some motivation. decided to take a look at the big D a bit further south. water was up and a little discolored but not bad. i got about a dozen shad in 6 hours all on spoons. fished most of that time next to two friendly gentlemen who helped pass the time between fish.
