Default PA opener super

Opening day generally went decent but this season just incredible !
Headed north to a creek outside of Stroudsburg PA , not far from my house..
Not to many anglers like early opener , plenty of room. Walk down from a bridge to fish some unattended side runs & seams. My fourth drift w/ metal got hammered . A 23" bow ran toward mid stream with plenty of' authority.
After a few more runs I quickly got a measurement & released her.
Couple of riffs downstream anglers vacated so I moved in quickly.
I noticed the tell tale outline in back of riff of another big palomino
bow.
I dropped my lure to drift near him , wanted to see if she would follow , she did . I worked her for another 10 minutes or so now the was in the middle of tiff deepest & fastest section. I knew I could tease a strike now if I used the correct lure to dork properly in that depth.
Only took a few more drifts to ignite a solid hook up , 4 jumps and 5 minutes she was beached taped & released ! A very tough fish jumps were just a big plus !
Taped out @ 24.5 " estimated weight a out 6#'s , the other I guessmated about 5+ with another angler streamside.
Awesome day number 22 & 23 over 5# mark !
