Good point on the aluminum prop Legal. Let the softer aluminum sustain the damage rather than your lower unit. I also think the benefits of stainless props are more noticeable in higher horsepower engines and larger boat applications where there is more power and torque required at the prop. If you beleive this, it stands to reason that on smaller boats you will not see that much of a difference going with stainless.

Aluminum props flex which can cause innefficency. Inefficency allows the prop and engine RPMs to be higher. So, if you are going from stainless to aluminum you might need to go up a size in pitch and the opposite is true going from aluminum to stainless.
