2-28 Offshore Sea Bass Report
The winds dropped off early enough for us to make our final trip of the 2013 Winter Sea Bass Season. Fishing started out very slow due to the 18’ swells from the day before. As the day went on and we moved to a different area fishing picked up and many passengers caught their limit of Sea Bass and 10 to 15 porgies each.
The pool winners were:
Antonio Fonseea from Colonia NJ with a 7.5LB Sea Bass,
Craig Borrell from Topton PA with a 6.5LB Sea Bass.
Except for a little rain in the middle of the morning it was a nice day and a good trip for our final trip.
Too bad the season is closing but, we will have to wait and see what regulations they will come up with for the rest of the year and next winter.
The Jamaica will be on dry dock for a week or two and will begin Striped Bass Trips later in March.
