I know you said NNJ, I drove around scouting for a couple of spots, every body of water had Ice besides some rivers and streams. If you wanna travel south, I just spoke to my Parents (Exit 63) off the parkway. There are a few lakes down there that are Iced-Out, but it's a bit of a hike I know.
I'm gonna head out to catch some River Monsters tomorrow. Let me know if you're interested. It's going to be beautiful. If you call out of work I'm sure they will understand
