I was out today on the Voyager. Seas were rough going out, lot of rockin' and rollin' in the bunks. Lots of upset stomachs in the morning after the boat set up on the first drop. Rain, wind, rough seas, extra good sea bass and HUGE

porgies everywhere. More porgies than cbass to start, but by the end of the day, almost everyone that I talked to had their limit of 3 to 5 pound sea bass and a near limit of porgies the size of dinner plates! The last drop of the day my buddy and I put 10 nice 3.5 to 4 lb cbass in the box with 4 drops each to the bottom. That put us at our limit so we put the gear away, grabbed some fine Pa. beer from my collection, and watched others pull up knuckleheads left and right. That last drop was loaded with beauties. Still some porgies in the mix there as well. Great service from the cook and the 2 mates (I forget their names but they won't forget mine; PaBeerGuy). Not to mention the excellent work of the Captain Jeff who anchored us real good, even in that early slop.
