Lets all meet at the island on Lake Muscanetcong. Lots of parking. Plenty of fish. I always catch something there.
Don't forget to buy large butterworms from my minister friend Elliot at
www.Elliotsbutterworms.com You can also call with the number provided on the web-site. I usually order 300-500. They keep in the refrigerator in the upper butter compartment for months in the shipping box. I use a plastic chewing tobacco can tucked in my pocket when I'm fishing. I don't bring all of them with me. Just enough for the day. They last a long time and I usually catch three fish before I add another one. They don't fall apart like mousies. They don't dry up and turn black like mealworms. They have an attractive smell that you can smell once the hook penetrates their bodies. I believe this is the reason they attract fish more than any other jig bait.
Check out the picture Elliot posted of me on his web-site holding some butterworm caught N.J. trout. Now you know what I look like so you can find me on the lakes!LMAO
Lard Almighty carries a picture of me everytime he hits the water. He still can't find me. I take that back. He found me at JJ Bitings at the Christmas party the other evening and promises to try ice fishing with me this year. We'll see.
