Got out for a few hours today. Started off by going to fins and furs. Well worth stoppin in for few things. Only prob was I burned a half hour of good fishing time talking to the the guy workin there, lol.
Stopped off at the shed for a while but decided to move on after only one dink smallie in an hour or so. Decided to hit the river on my way home. Water was up a bit, and movin, but I figured I'd give it a try.
Within the first 15/20 minutes I hooked into a decent 25" pike. Got one pic of him in the water before he shook off. After that I got a nice thick 30" and what was prob my second biggest channel cat of the year. He was pullin like a beast!! Always nice to have some bend in the rod!!!
