Hit the river for a little while before work this morning. Water is low and thats the story all over the place. Ive never seen the Passaic this low. Anyway started throwing the usual spinnerbaits and swimbaits only to result in swings and misses. Thought about the situation at hand and decided to slow it down ALOT. Went 5/5 after I decided to take the presentation down a notch. Jigged up 5 PIKE, 3 of them average size, 23-24, 1 measuring 28. The final PIKE of the day was ripping drag going BANANAS, even did 1 jump for me. This guy measured a hair under 37 inches and weighed 11 lbs 7 ozs according to the crappy scale I had in my bag. Now thats a good start to the work day. TIGHT LINES, GOOD TIMES!!!
