Those are good tips....I would imagine its like a built in delay to let the fish really get the frog as well....I'll remember those for sure.

I usually use a Medium Heavy 6' 6" Spinning rod with 65 lb braid for my frog. (longer casts with spinning than bait casting being the main reason) So the 12 o'clock thing makes perfect sense now that you mention it. Thanks.
