Re: hook question
Hit the practice pond today to test tackle and tried the 4/0 EWG hooks without so much as a nibble! I did however rig them to 6" worms rather than my usual 10" power worms in hopes of avoiding short strikes. Also the store only had the bleeders so the whole red thing might have had an effect. Going to pick up standard 4/0 EWG's and rig my 10" worms again for a better test. I did however rig my old standard 2/0 EWG's weedless to swim frogs for the first time and had two solid hits without hookups which is rare.
