Went back out today for another shot. Funny thing is, when I went back to my spot it was chained of with a no trespassing sign.
Must just close at dusk?
Anyway, decide to scrounge up a new spot real quick. Found a nice spot further down stream. While walkin up I noticed a couple dead shad, one seemed real "fresh". So I got excited, maybe some live ones too? Nope, after an hour and a half I got the skunk. Still nice to wet a line though.........
I've never fished for shad. Is it still possible to get some or are they just dying off? If so, what works best for them?
