I'll be spending the next 2 weeks in Connecticut for work so naturally............
Found a few nearby spots. Unfortunately Indian lake which is on my way to work is.........private.
But, I did find a nice spot on the Housatonic River, with a public boat launch, about 10 mins away from the hotel. Nice spot!! Unfortunately, after throwing a crankbait, a spinner, and a swim bait, I only dinked out with the spinner. Got 2 "large"ies and a yellow perch.
I did see LOTS of fish activity around but I think it was toooooo shallow on the edge and deepened up in the middle. That's were the most activity was anyway. Wouldn't mind gettin a day permit and bringin the boat up sometime................
