Re: shad tomorrow
I fished last saturday on pburg side from free bridge in easton up the river a lil ways....my buddy who was with me got 1...i got skunked...but a guy caught a 5.5lb right next to us....later in the day my other buddy went to same spot and got 19...so we were doing something wrong.
the guy I went with went this morning at 730am and caught 8, he left at 9am...told me he was catching them on top working flutter spoon like a popper....dead serious...never heard of that...but tmrw is opening day of trout for us PA Anglers, so maybe sunday I'll hit the river for shad...good luck to anyone who goes out. Maybe see some NJfishing members where i fish in the easton area?
