Man, it's been a while since I've fished down in that bay.
Good spots as far as I remember were the Meyers hole, oyster creek channel and Barnegat ridge. OCC produced us a bunch of shorts and a couple nice keepers (fluke) But like I said, it's been a couple years since I've fished there and we're (me and my buddies' boat) now docked up in the Highlands. Watch the chop near the area of the lighthouse though and follow every boating safety guideline there is.
Congrats on the boat! It's sure to bring you joy...along with a little grief as all boats do.
