Shore report 3/31
With the nasty weather today we decided to do some shore fishing instead of taking the boat out. We hit the creek first in hopes of finding those jumbo perch. Well, we were ver dissapointed in that effort as we fished for a 1/2 hour there with no hits and no fish. We headed over to the small spillway next. The only action I managed there was an aggresive strike from a large pickeral which failed to connect. Finally, we hit the big spillway for the last 1/2 hour. I finally caught 1 perch and my dad again had nothing. Defintely a tough day of fishing but it was defintely better than being stuck at home. Gonna hit Assunpink on Saturday hopefully, maybe we'll find the crappies.
