Hit Mirror Lake today from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm. When we got there, we soon realized there was a bass tournament going on. They defintely hampered our fishing but at least they weren't rude or violent

We worked every part of the lake except for the back. 2 torunament guys said they had some pickeral up there.The water(and the air) was cold, there was too much pressure on the lake, and we did poorly. My dad had 4 dink perch and 1 crappie and I had 1 pickeral. I had a nice pickeral or bass on for a couple seconds but the hook popped out. Hopefully, we'll do better on Tuesday. Honestly, this has been the WORST March for me freshwater wise. Last year, I had 20 to almost 60 fish days on Pemberton before they closed it and a 25 fish day on Mirror around the same time as today last year. This has to be the absloute latest me and my dad have gone without catching our first bass of the year. In years past, both me and my dad have gotten our first bass in January. Of course, we were also shore fishing later than ever. We used to do a day or 2 in April shore fishing for kicks but we have never gone this long just shore fishing. Hopefully, my luck will turn around on Tuesday. Sorry about the rant, just needed to blow off steam.
