Went shore fishing today afterschool. It was a half day today so we got an early start. Me and the old man started out at the Rancocas Creek at 2:00 pm. We fished there until 3:30 pm. I had a really bad start. The old man had 5 perch, 2 pickeral, 1 sunnie and some kind of baitfish. I only had 2 perch. All of the perch there except for 2 were over 1lb.(not both my 2
). All of our fish came on white Mr. Twisters. Then, we hit the small spillway. I had 4 perch there and my dad had 2 pickeral and 1 perch there all on Rapalas. We left around 4:30 pm. We had 18 fish in a little over 2 hours of fishing. Not bad for a rainy nasty day. It just wasn't my day
. Hopefully I will be on Mirror Lake Saturday and Sunday.
