When it's parts you be needing, it's a long way to Sweden !
My first boat had volvos, when the repairs started looming, I sold the boat. My second boat had volvos, I ran them one season, when the repairs started looming I repowered with cummins. That was six years ago, not a bit of trouble since then. All new engines are good, its when they age and you need parts that the make becomes important. Volvo has always had a supply issue. I think the new volvos with the IPS are really neat, but I'm waiting to see what happens when they are 5 years old and out of warranty.
