Thanks for all the help! I was wondering about the sabiki outfits. I use them a lot when catching bait in Fla. for grouper fishing. And yes, other than one partyboat in Key Largo, I have found partyboats to have rails that are too high to allow use of a belt/harness. I really hope to be able to jig up a tuna!! I have read that you can also strip line off your reel and each armlength you pull off should be about 2', you can count your way down to the fish that way. I would love to find a portable line counter, will have to look for one of those! The trip I am scheduled on is a Tuna and Tile trip so it will be fishing non-stop, day and night!!
