Summer? Fall? wtf knows...

I'm confused, the fish are too, can't wait for later this week when it gets cooler. Went fishing yesterday after work and forgot my entire tackle bag....tools, line, extra lures, camera, everything. Caught some big fish 20" fat bass and a 24" pickerel with the shoulders of a 30" pike and the tail of an 18" pickerel (no joke, the thing was a mutant freak) some rainbow trout and lost a HUGE smallie on the long distance jump fest. enjoy the crappy flip phone selfies...

You always look confused :p

Better enjoy the weather now. my oak trees are dropping so many acorns it is like walking on grease covered marbles. Last time they did this in 2013 we had 2.5' of ice on the cong.

Nice piggy btw!

Hahahahaha! It's happening down here too! Stuffs falling off the trees rapidly in the Rt 78, GSP corridor. Am I the only one that wants a cold normal winter? Haven't been able to use my Marcum over DEEP water in 2 seasons! Not sure why I bought the damn thing!!!!!!!!!!!

✋️ Right here.

I have a twice used power auger and a brand new 3 man shelter collecting dust for the past 2 years.

Simple solution to this: buy ice fishing gear. It's soooo worth it. Make ice a reason to fish vs an inhibitor! FLAAAAAGGGGGGGG!

There's no combination that i won't fish so i'm fine with whatever! cold ice, great, not cold enough fish the deep lakes with the boat, windy hit the streams for trout, whatever it's all good but summer can F off now! Though the fish don't seem to care much, the shorter days alone seem to be turning them on to fall patterns even though the surface is freaking boiling. Going to get cool next few days or so, hopefully it turns them on more.

p.s. would be nice to have a real ice fishing season though i'll admit. it's been two years. I want another shot at ice lakers!
