Ocean Fluking 8-12-17
 

The weather report said rain today but I got up early anyway and checked the weather conditions online and decided to go! The marina was empty with just about everyone staying home. I hit the bay and it was a bit choppy with a steady SE wind. Turning the corner of the hook and it was choppy but doable. I headed down to the spot we caught fish last week. Took awhile to get there but once we did it was a good steady bite all day. I keep 3 nice fluke with one @ 26" another @ 22" and 20" and even caught a double header! All nice solid fish. The fish hit 6" Gulp fished in 50 ft of water and hard bottom. The fish are finally here! Get out there and get em! Tight lines

Fluking hasn't been so good for me this year . Thanks for the update.

YW! The fishing has been picking up for the last 2 weeks for me. Now is the time to get out there!
