Hit 2 spots on the river Wednesday nite. Water wasn't ideal at first spot but gave it an hour and change. One rock bass and a very random black crappie. First crappie ive ever gotten in the Raritan. Bounced out and started the drive home. Detoured off the highway and hit a well known location. Lower than preferred water but screw it...fished anyway.

15 min of fishing tossing a keitech I almost had my rod ripped outta my hand. Pretty good fight on the light cumara. Got her close and jumped in to land her. Head was massive. I think I could've stuffed a softball in her mouth. Taped her and snapped a couple shots. 27.5" and I'm guessing around 8 lbs or so. She was solid. Old, too. Piece of her tail was missing.

Took a few mins to revive her with the warmer water but she swam away nicely, turned into the current and faded away. High-tailed home after that. Been a while since I caught a nice walleye. Felt good. Porn below.
