Furnace lake?
 
Anyone fish furnace lake lately ? I am looking to fish it for the first time

Went twice last month. Each time with 2 other buddies. Grand total of fish..... drum roll..... 2 dink bass.
We did have several big hits, but no hook ups or follows from the big ones in there.

It's not a numbers lake. Better off elsewhere. MCR is declining too. Plenty of fish in RVR esp if you have a boat. Fish early via troll or with herring.

Fishing from a kayak so looking to stick to the smaller lakes . I use to mainly fish salt before moving to NJ

I caught about a 3 lb. bass about thirty feet in front of the docks (by the beach area) a few years ago. My friend and I put a boat in the lake that day, and other than that bass it was slow. I have heard of some decent sized tiger musky living in there. There are a few videos on YouTube you might be interested in.
