Best place to take kid from shore.monmouth/ocean

Have my 6 yr old grandson looking for best lake or pond to definately catch something..sunfish bass catfish..any help would be much appreciated..im in howell..no real limits to travel somewhere

Theres a pond I think on ramshorn rd. in allaire state park close to hospital dr. I think you could catch sunnys an bass in there.
