The crew and I went down to the Sandy hook reef area looking for Black Seabass. We found well over a 100 shorts in different depths from 40' to 80'. 1 keeper and a winter flounder and trolled up and released some blues too. Plenty of action but the I'm told the larger Seabass were much further south.
