NJ Summer Flounder Appeal hearing
Our appeal against option 5 / 3 fish at 19" will be heard at the spring ASMFC meeting on Thursday May 11 between 8 -1030AM Looks like its early in the agenda

Grout) Stay Tuned, should be an interesting ride as this is still just another step the procedural battle and even if rejected doesn't mean an end to the fight. You better hope that DR.Pierce from Mass: or Bullard is not voting on this because if they are you guys are screwed. I think it's time we get the names of the people out there that are making these decisions. Us as fisherman should demand that they get replaced with more qualified people. I'm not as educated as most of you who know so much more about this stuff. But lets get the names out blast Facebook get it viral with it ask for them to be removed from service.

NJ has until May 21 to meet option 5 3 fish @19" May 21 to Sept 28 128 days or get the new conservation equivalency measure of 3 fish @18" May 25 to Sept 5 104 days approved by the Technical Committee / Summer Flounder board.
So we wait and see what happens next week. |
