Late entry banner day

Got out wends. with a work buddy who moonlights as a wildlife photographer. Waded upstream(usual spots) about 2 miles. River was super active- tons of small minnows/fish- trout were feasting on them. Ended up landing 15 rainbows(prob 5 with some size- topping out around 15, and then rest cookie cutters) 3 browns (1 pictured, one maybe 5in but angry, and a 12 who slipped up before he deholstered his dslr. Also sat on a rock and watched some bows crush top water nymphs and other bugs under a tree. Bruce had some issues with depth but hit one solid one(his first on the Fly) and had a blast watching the bows check out his flys. Water was still super cold and clear. This was before the big front on Friday.

Re: Late entry banner day
Looks like a nice stretch of water. Always nice when you can have a photographer hang with you and do all the picture taking, that's kinda like why I fish with Wilson :D

Thanks everybody- and yea it does make for some good shots.
And hahaha Andy ouch poor Wilson. Bruce hit well in the gorge a week later so I guess he worked out the presentation issue |
