1997 25HP Mercury 2 stroke FOR SALE......
 

Up for sale is my baby. I've had this engine for a while and its been very good to me. It was rebuilt by myself and my good friend Mikey topaz 2 years ago. Things we replaced, 2 new ignition coil packs, rebuilt the carburetor, new plugs, new stator, new power pack, new fuel filter. We replaced just about everything folks. The engine is super clean for a 97 and moves my 16 foot Tracker Deep V very well.

There's only 1 problem with this engine! It will not engage into reverse for some reason! It could be a linkage issue or lower unit issue. Therefore I am letting this engine go for,,,,,,,800.00 BUCKS! I'm really gona miss this engine but it's time for me to move on.

This way the buyer can have a nice clean running engine and have money left over to take it to a mechanic to get the reverse issue fixed. Lets talk about it fellas! Make me an offer! TIGHT LINEZ!!!

eddie, is that a short or long shaft? cabling included?

Bill! It's a 20 inch shaft! And yes! I will let buyer have all the control cables that come with engine!

I can vouch for this motor starting right up and hauling ass on the Big Lake. Good deal to whoever jumps on it!
