Drift Fishing Palm Beach 12/27/16
 

Jeff calls me for a charter, but he doesn't want to fight big fish like sails, so we don't need live bait...ok, we'll go bottom fishing.... but then the family shows up and there in front of me are a 12 year old and a 17 year old.... the wheels start turning....hey guys, want to catch a big shark ??? What kid doesn't want to catch a big shark ? I take the group bottom fishing and the first blue runner that came up got attached to the shark rod and thrown back in. Not 45 seconds later, that reel is singing. An hour later and after 5 anglers on the reel, a 9 foot Bull shark makes a guest appearance for photos and is released. Then we went back to bottom fishing and got some dinner for them. Jeff knows not to tell me he doesn't want to catch big fish anymore. LOL
