Different day different fishing
 

Today we took Tony and the boys out to celebrate Tonys 65th birthday. Had high hopes after yesterday's awesome fishing.
I decided to run down the beach instead of dealing with the bay traffic. Had birds up off the bridge and landed a quick bonus tag fish. The traffic came under the birds and it was over.
We searched for a while going as far as long branch with nothing to show for our efforts.
We decidedly to try for blackfish. Again not the bite I was hoping for.
By the end of the day we had 1 Striper, 6 porgies and 8 blackfish.
Can't kill them everyday.
