Wednesday night bassin

Got a pretty late start last night due to the mets game being on. Launched the boat around 11:30pm. Was hoping to net some nice peanuts that were around before the hard NE blow last weekend. Looked around and couldn't find much at all. Decided to take a short trip and wait for the slack tide to start moving out. An hour in and it was game on. Between the 3 of us we boated well over 30 bass and about 10 bluefish. All on artificial. Mostly short skinny bass. The bluefish were fat though. Marked some bigger fish but only got the small ones to hit. Water was about 65 so it should really start to turn on soon.
