Finally Got Some Rain, and a Waldo!!!

Hit a familiar stretch of river after the little bit of rain we had a few days ago. Hoped it cooled things off a bit and got the fish going. Early am was overcast and the trout were active. Got a nice brown and a bow. Bow was the better fight with a great jump as soon as I hooked it.

As the clouds passed the smallies seemed to be more aggressive. Caught about a dozen, all under 14". Fun none the less. Came up to the last hole I intended to fish around 11:30am under full sun and hooked a decent fish. Thought I had another decent trout but.....

Got it in and realized I had caught my first walleye!! Went about 14" and was a perfect way to cap off a pretty good day on the crik!!! Wished it was keeper size cause I wanna see what all the hype is about but..... Released to be caught another day!!
