Salmon river update
 

on the way back home now ran up for the day on a suicide mission with a newbie in search of samenzzzz, so this is where its at theres fish in the river mostly lower section of the river did spot one king up at the altmar bridge. We fished hard and started our way from down low and worked our way up saw three hookups all day two fish on a stringer all day and not much to report from estuary fish there but not in any great numbers. Towards the end of the day i finally hooked up but ran 80 yds of line off and wrapped me in the rocks be back in two weeks for a couple days of salmon then

Thanks for the report. Was gonna go up next week but still seems slow. Your reports seems more truthful. I've been reading online that there's a decent amount of fish and hookups. But i guess to reports arn't to true. The big run should be any time soon. Cant wait!!

Sometimes people with a vested interest in a fishery or area can be less than truth full - hence The bump bar for kayak- lip scales ect we all love lol

They're gona start snappin any day now! The mouths of the local Criks are covered with SAMENZ on the sonar top to bottom! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzinnnnnng! Drag ripperzzzzzzzz! Should've went to OZ! Just sayin!! :D

I'll be heading up October 10th. But wanted to get gamakatsu octopus hooks but forgot the size again. Any one want to help me out in what size you are suppose to use? Every year I do this and forget the size lol
